Coaching, Consulting, Training, and Contracting Defined
Agent Coach Group provides Coaching, Consulting, Training, and Contracting at different times to deliver its services. Since these types of services are relatively new in the real estate business, the above terms are often used interchangeably when they are very different functions.
Coaching emphasises the client's responsibility for the results he or she receives from coaching and focuses as much on who the client needs to be or become as what business practices need to be done differently. A good coach focuses on the power of goal setting, developing strategies to obtain the goals, building strong relationships with the people he or she is coaching, and holding his clients accountable to achieving the goals they set. This is a long-term process that has powerful returns on the financial and time investment incurred.
A consultant focuses on what needs to be accomplished to improve the business. A Consultant is employed to deliver expert analysis and advice aimed at specific needs or goals. They are expert in a specific situations and industries which can sometimes be very narrow. The consultant therefore writes the roadmap to achieve their client's goals.
Trainers are employed to transfer specific skills. Training may cover a wide set of skills, but trainers, like consultants are often narrowly focussed with deep expertise in their topic and the techniques of transferring those skills to their clients. Real estate practitioners need training in a wide range of topics. These include such different skills as the use of technology, delivering a good listing presentation, writing effective ads, and managing finances.
A Contractor takes responsibility for well defined tasks. Agent Coach Group will, at our clients' request take the role of "Prime Contractor" in dealing with various product and service providers that agents must deal with. These contractors may be website developers or hosts, lead generation companies, marketing companies, and technology vendors.
Agent Coach Group has highly trained and experienced associates who provide coaching, consulting, training, and contracting duties. Where our client needs help outside of our core areas of expertise we maintain a list of the leading quality product and service providers which we will identify to our clients. At our clients request we will negotiate in their best interest for the best possible terms and conditions of delivery of those products and services.
